All our friends are leaving, guess we are a couple now. A couple of loose threads. Tie us together, straighten up and sober. The camera never lies but yr body language tries like: check out the bar staff, dressed up as the blink nurse. This is yr heritage. We are all kick skins, painted up and broke in, hanging round like souvenirs.

Headlights, headlights won't protect you from the night, just illuminate the signs in front of you. Headlights headlights, still rely on open eyes, just illuminate the signs to our one night alive.

We'd need a ride. Wait. I said "just take me", she waved down a taxi. For somewhere we can go where there's noone else i'll know; so, we leave the theme park, drive down to the old dark. The goth where I grew up. Won't make the posters, living on the outskirts. Kinda thought that that was the point of it.

"deadheaders international" is one of the few tunes that i feel really just captures my generation, and the people that i used to know and share love with..
